4BB Chambers welcomes applications for mini-pupillage between June and August each calendar year
Mini-pupillages typically last 2 days and you will be given the opportunity to follow a member of our chambers to court. Mini-pupillages are unfunded and you will not be asked to undertake any work for us during your mini-pupillage. We do not assess you or use a mini-pupillage as any part of our selection process for pupillage, and it is not necessary to have undertaken a mini-pupillage with us to be considered for pupillage.
If you would like to apply for a mini pupillage please send your CV to mini-pupillage@4bb.co.uk with a short covering letter explaining why you are interested in undertaking a mini-pupillage, in crime, with 4BB Chambers. Where possible we do our best to provide mini-pupillages in geographical locations that are convenient to the applicant. We have a limited fund to assist with the travel expenses of those who wish to undertake a mini-pupillage but cannot do so for financial reasons. If you are in this position please set out your financial circumstances in your covering letter.
Applications are welcome each year between June and August, with placements being allocated between September and December of the same year. Applications received outside of this period will not be considered.
