Jack Preece secured an acquittal in an allegation of knifepoint robbery at Bromley Youth Court.
Jack made detailed submissions that the police had failed to comply with the requirements of Code D, thereby rendering the identification evidence so unreliable that it ought to be excluded from the evidence under s. 78 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984. The Crown Prosecution Service subsequently offered no evidence.
Jack Preece is a second six pupil and he was instructed by Andy Floyd of Victor Clifford Solicitors in Croydon.
