Following a seven week trial, Stuart Trimmer KC successfully prosecuted Ian Stewart in relation to the murder of Helen Bailey and the disposal of her body. Stewart will be sentenced at St. Albans Crown Court on 23rd February 2017. During the trial, Stewart insisted that two others, known only as Nick and Joe, had in fact killed Helen Bailey. He said that they must have been responsible for the disposal of Helen’s body and that of her beloved dog, Boris, in a cesspit under the garage.
