On 4th May 2016 at the Crown Court at Luton, Helen Guest successfully prosecuted FK for a number of offences of historic sexual abuse. In what is thought to be the first case of it’s kind, FK appeared via video link from his home throughout his trial. His medical conditions meant that FK was unable to attend in person but he was represented throughout by leading counsel who appeared in the court room, and a junior, who was at his home. Sentencing will take place ‪on 9th June 2016, when it is likely that FK will again appear via video link, from prison.
