George Heimler secures acquittal of osteopath at Bristol Crown Court today. His client was accused of sexually assaulting a new patient at his practice in July 2022 whilst she lay on his treatment table. She made the allegation to her father within minutes of the appointment and complained to the police within an hour.
Rebutting the allegation involved the defence replicating on a professionally prepared video, using a registered osteopath and model, the full treatment session, adducing evidence of an osteopathic expert and calling seven further witnesses.
