Charlies Digby has successfully secured the conviction of a wife who stabbed her husband with a carving knife. The trial took place at Lincoln Crown Court between 3rd and 7th of April 2017. The case involved a Lithuanian woman, who ended up in a domestic violence incident with her husband over his accusation that she had brought a younger man home. Both parties were drunk when she ran to the kitchen to arm herself with a knife, she said to protect herself from her husband’s attack. As he turned away to escape she stabbed him once severing his liver in two and causing him to lose over 4 units of blood.
