The Defendant was sentenced forFraud by Abuse ofPosition, having transferred over £57,000 into his own personal bank account in his employment as a treasurer. The Judge was persuaded to defer sentence, before later imposing a sentence of 20 months’ imprisonment suspended for 18 months, with no requirements attached.
