Background

Serena Lit

Call 2024

Serena Lit began her first six pupillage in October 2024 under the supervision of Julia Mackworth.

Serena read European Politics at King’s College London and completed the Bar Practice Course at the University of Law. While studying, Serena was a student advisor and advocate under the ULaw Litigation Programme, where she successfully represented clients before the First-Tier tribunal.

Prior to this, Serena was a senior political advisor and media strategist. During this time, she worked on new measures to better protect and support victims of sexual abuse. Serena also has a keen interest in the defence of civil liberties and campaigned against the curtailing of protest rights.

Serena looks to develop a broad criminal practice, encompassing serious violence, fraud, motoring offences and supply of drugs.
