Rudo Ushewokunze commenced her first six pupillage in July 2025 under the supervision of Philip Misner.
Prior to pupillage, Rudo worked as a trainee legal adviser in the magistrates’ court where she conducted hearings in a range of criminal cases from motoring matters to violent offences. In this capacity, she developed excellent client care through regularly assisting unrepresented defendants. She also worked as a compliance paralegal at a global law firm where she cultivated an interest in dealing with fraud and regulatory matters.
Rudo looks to develop a rounded criminal and regulatory practice and will commence her second six pupillage in January 2026.
