Prashant joined Chambers in 2024 after completing pupillage at 4BB under the supervision of Philip Misner and Matthew Kirk. He has a busy criminal practice, and both prosecutes and defends in the Crown Court. He also accepts instructions in the Magistrates’ Court and in the Youth Court.
Appointed as a CPS Level 2 panel advocate, Prashant regularly prosecutes cases involving serious violence, weapons offences, dishonesty, and drug supply. His prosecution practice emphasises the principles of fairness and reasonableness, while his growing defence practice can be characterised by robustness in his advice to clients and rigour in his defence of them.
Prashant accepts instructions in all areas of criminal law. He has a developing interest in wildlife crime and animal law.
Prior to pupillage, Prashant worked as a paralegal at a leading criminal defence firm, where he managed a busy caseload across the spectrum of criminal law while also qualifying as an accredited police station representative.
