James Pallant joined 4BB in April 2025 as a probationary tenant upon the completion of his pupillage at a London-based criminal set. He acts for both defence and prosecution and has appeared in the Crown Court, Youth Court and Magistrates’ Court
Prior to commencing pupillage, James held a management role within the healthcare sector for several years. He previously worked within the legal services sector and fulfilled roles within compliance and regulation. He has also worked on major legal projects including fraud investigations.
James has previously volunteered as an Appropriate Adult for young persons and vulnerable adults in police custody. He has also represented immigration detainees at bail hearings as part of his LLM course.
