Denece Crane was called to the Bar in 1999 and until the commencement of her career break in 2007, had an extremely busy criminal practice being instructed in abroad range of criminal disciplines from minor offences to serious and complex matters including murder, rape, violence, drug and theft offences. Denece has an extremely strong work ethic with meticulous case preparation and attention to detail. She is an effective and persuasive trial advocate with exemplary communication skills, being passionate about upholding the rule of law, ensuring access to justice and protecting the rights of individuals including those who are vulnerable either through age or suffering with mental health issues. Her experience also includes advising and representing police officers throughout all police disciplinary proceedings. In January 2024 Denece returned to the criminal bar, rejoining 4BB where she continues with her defence and prosecution practice.
