Acquittals in conspiracy to commit armed robbery trial

On 31st March 2017, following a six week trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court, Peter Marshall secured acquittals for their respective clients, both of whom were accused of being part of a conspiracy to commit robberies of taxi drivers at knife point. It was the prosecution case that a total of 22 robberies had been committed in the Ilford area over the course of August and September 2015. Of the six defendants on trial, Peter’s clients, who are both 18 now but were 16 at the time of the offences, were two of the three defendants acquitted.
